This book felt like poetry written in horror and pain. Every chapter felt like a glide through life and memory.

It tore at heart strings while also terrifying you of what's beyond the clear of the sea and the debts yet to be paid.

It's so well written that it will linger in your mind long after finished. A hum of something not yet forgotten.

So lucky to have been chosen to read this before its official release! This folklore horror novel is beautifully written, with dark and haunting descriptions that create an eerie atmosphere from the very first page. It’s incredibly intriguing and demands your attention right away, instantly pulling you into its unsettling world. The story is fast paced, engaging, and consistently interesting, making it difficult to put down. The folklore elements are especially well done, and the book also delivers a brave plot twist that genuinely surprised me and made the story even more memorable. My only downside is that it wasn’t long enough. Bound by the Salt is a gripping and atmospheric horror read that I’d definitely recommend!
